Wings of Hope

Providing a New Life for Horses

Wings of Hope is HITS way of giving back to the amazing animals that have given so much to us over the course of our time as horse-people.

Our program is named for the first horse we had in this program, the beautiful Hope.  Hope has been adopted and is now in a loving home where she will continue to thrive and be cared for.

For the purpose of our Wings of Hope Program, HITS works with a wonderful organization - Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society.

We take on selected Bluebonnet Horses, who live, train and work with our team with a goal of these horses becoming part of our HITS Therapy Team.

These horses, once they have achieved their training goals become available to be rehomed through HITS and Bluebonnet.

It is our absolute pleasure to work with these horses, that have sometimes simply been discarded.

Anne's desire to give back to the animals and industry that has given her so much joy over the years is the driving force behind this program.

Patton

Patton is a 6 year old Standardbred Gelding.

Patton has been a dream for Anne to work with and train.  He is a smart and willing gelding that has excelled in his training and rehabilitation to a new life.

Patton and Anne will be participating in the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge on October 17th 2020.

Great news, Patton has been adopted!
